The 2023 Dodge Hornet R/T performance hybrid takes horsepower even further with a dose of electricity. This PHEV System boasts a top speed of 128 mph and reaches 60 mph in just 6.1 seconds.
Available Dual Stage Valve Suspension
Depending on your driving mode of choice, the Dual-Stage Valve Suspension stiffens to minimize body roll, maximizing cornering control in Sport Mode or softening for a more comfortable ride in Normal mode.
HELL-BENT ON INNOVATION

By using visual and audible alerts, available Drowsy Driver Detection will notify and suggest to the driver to take a break when they have driven a prolonged period of time, or if steering behavior signals fatigue.

For a measure of performance and distinction, add the available Track Pack for four-piston Red Brembo brake calipers and 20-inch wheels to complete the look.

INSIDE THE HIVE
Power Sunroof
Standard on GT Plus and RT Plus the sunroof brings the outside inside… if you're into that-we just consider it one more window you can open to let in the familiar scent of burning rubber.
All-Black Interior And Painted Accents
Our take on luxury is an all-black interior with painted and crafted features. Top quality metals and materials accent our dashboard, tunnel bezels and upper door panels.
2023 Dodge Hornet Trim Levels
What Are the Engine and Drivetrain Options for the 2023 Hornet?
Two engines power the all-new Dodge Hornet lineup. Serving as the standard engine for the lineup under the hood of the GT and GT Plus trims is Dodge's new Hurricane4 engine, which is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine that delivers 268 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The Hornet's nine-speed automatic transmission powers an advanced all-wheel-drive system that uses active torque vectoring to provide enhanced handling. This is done by increasing torque to the outside wheels when going through a corner and limiting torque to the inside wheels. Powering the Hornet R/T is the first-ever plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) system from Dodge. The front wheels are powered by a 1.3L turbocharged I-4 engine underneath the hood. Meanwhile, an electric motor is affixed on the rear axle to power the rear wheels, together providing the Hornet R/T with all-wheel drive. The electric motor is powered by a rechargeable battery pack. This setup gives the Hornet R/T 288 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. As much as 184 lb-ft of this torque is available instantly, thanks to the rear axle-mounted electric motor. Power is sent to the Hornet R/T wheels by a six-speed automatic transmission.
Interior and Exterior Design of the 2023 Dodge Hornet
The 2023 Dodge Hornet's design is the product of the brand's 100-year history. The exterior boasts Dodge's muscle car heritage, while the interior focuses on refined comfort and convenience. The front end features slim headlight housings with brilliant LED bulbs and LED daytime running light strips. Between the headlights is a wide grille with a mailslot opening originally featured on the legendary Charger. At the center of the grille is Dodge's Rhombi symbol. The hood features two large heat extractors for optimal engine cooling and aggressive styling. The bumpers, rocker panels, and wheel wells are covered with rugged black cladding for protection of these areas. The rear features a slim LED light bar connecting the LED taillights with an illuminated Dodge Rhombi symbol at the center. Stepping behind the wheel, you'll find a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a standard 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster behind it for important driving information. You'll immediately notice Dodge's traditional driver-centric instrument panel, with the center stack leaned slightly toward the driver. At the top of the center stack, you'll find a 10.25-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen with the latest infotainment technologies. For the 2023 Hornet, the ignition push-button was moved to the lower portion of the center stack on the driver's side, giving it a more intuitive position. A few more standard features include six speakers, premium cloth upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and much more.
Is the 2023 Dodge Hornet Safe?
In addition to being powerful, stylish, and comfortable, the 2023 Dodge Hornet is also safe. Giving you peace of mind on the road in the all-new Hornet is a wide range of advanced safety technologies, many of which are standard. Standard on all trim levels, you'll enjoy driver assists such as forward collision warning with full stop, automatic emergency braking, automatic high beam headlights, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, pedestrian detection, rain-sensing wipers, blindspot monitoring with rear cross-traffic detection, lane keep assist, rear parking sensors, and more. Meanwhile, optional driver assists and those that come standard with the higher Hornet trim levels include drowsy driver detection, front parking sensors, active driving assist semi-autonomous driving, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and more.
